The first armed robbery set the standard for the day. Emily allegedly ran in with a gun demanding cash from the clerk at the Rutter's located at 1155 River Road in East Donegal Township around 12:13 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. She then fled the scene in Michael's black Hyundai Elantra — which police believe Michael was waiting to whisk her away in as her getaway driver.

Another Rutter's located at 3849 Hempland Road in West Hempfield Township was robbed in the same manner at 6:32 a.m. that day, area police told Susquehanna Regional police.

Columbia Borough Police were called to a Turkey Hill located at 301 Linden Street, Columbia that was also robbed in the same way at 11:24 a.m.

Susquehanna Regional PD Officers tracked Michael's Elantra to the parking spot behind his apartment located in the 500 block of East Market Street, Marietta. The couple was found inside their apartment. They were arrested and both charged with six felonies, three for robbery - threatening immediate serious injury and three for criminal conspiracy - robbery - threatening immediate serious injury, their court dockets detail.

Michael's lengthy court records date back to 1996. He has pleaded guilty or been convicted of numerous offenses mainly relating to drugs, theft, and robberies in Columbia and Montour counties. He has served both jail time and probation for his crimes. This is his first charge in Lancaster County.

They have both been held in the Lancaster County prison after failing to post bail. During a joint preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Magisterial District Judge Jodie E.
